“dou·la: a woman who is trained to assist another woman during childbirth and who may provide support to the family after the baby is born.”

If you go outside the dictionary, a doula is a person who is there to provide physical, emotional and informational support in whatever manner you find comfortable.
We are people who are dedicated to your well-being as you go through a natural, yet difficult process.
There are a hundred different kinds of doula’s that specialize in a hundred different kinds of things. And the beauty of it is that you are able to explore and find the one that is right for you.
Sometimes you will find you have questions that you don’t know how to ask. Or just want to speak to someone that isn’t your doctor or family. A third-party that is not there to judge, but absolutely in your corner.
That’s where we come in. There are no silly questions. Sometimes you need help. It’s okay to ask.
We are advocates for you to learn to advocate for yourself.
